On a somewhat similar note (in that I'm still squeeing about TV), this years Children in Need Doctor Who special was brilliant. I shall watch it again and again, giggling with glee. Although Old Who doesn't really do much for me, of the few episodes I've seen, Five is by far my favorite, and this only upped my love. Fortunately, I'm pretty sure I remember an old post on dw_ficsearch involving a New Who crossover with Five, so I shall go hunt it down.

On an entirely different note, I'm moving on Wednesday and have maybe a quarter of my stuff packed, one box, and no idea how I'm shipping everything. Or where I'm going to find the money to do said shipping because I went and blew a hundred bucks on Amazon last night. Tomorrow's my last day of work and maybe I'll get in a huge party that orders buckets and buckets of wine and leaves a huge tip.

Am currently working on Edmund and have found very little to add. Combined with the fact that I've deleted my music and movies list, he's looking awfully bare this year. It looks as though the family will be pretty much on their own with the buying of presents.

I have a new phone. It's a Samsung SYNC and it's red and pretty. It takes pictures and plays music and I feel like the coolest kid on the playground. I'm pretty much entirely obsessed with it.

Spent the last two days as a server at work and have made over $150. We are pleased. Hopefully I'll be able to save a little this month, but it'll be hard because I'm taking a week off to go and visit the grandparents and good ol' ND. On the other hand, they are giving me an obscene number of shifts - all my normal hostess shifts plus new shifts as a server, so I may be able to pull it off. *Crosses fingers* There are some books that I really want, I'm drooling over the idea of a new phone, I still am trying to find a way to buy my robots and I need to pay off a ridiculously large fine at the library so all the new income is of the good.

Also, am eating brownie batter and nearly spilled the entire pot on the floor. Nice going, asshat.

Am drunk as a skunk. Or skunk as a drunk. Or possibly not as I'm typing. But I'm close. Maybe. What's close to a skunk? A Weasel? Am drunk as a weasel? Dunno.

Watched The Closer. My thoughts are thus. Will!! Where's Will??!! One lousy scene? Unacceptable.

Am sure I'll have more coherent thoughts come morning.

Have been internet-less for nearly a week. See subject. Just got it back last night and am off to watch this week's The Closer. Yay!

Have been watching The Office during the downtime. I heart Jim/Pam and Dwight and, oddly enough, Toby. Basically I heart everyone but Michael. Mostly I can't stand to watch Michael's scenes. Still, The Office shall be on the watch list next season.

Have begun training as a server at the restaurant. Haven't made any money yet, and was a little overwhelmed today, but I think that overall it'll be a change for the best. Went to see Stardust after work and liked it a lot. Also have a massive crush on whoever plays the lead. I should probably learn his name.

Was sick yesterday, could possibly be the flu again, but I think was withdrawal symptoms from stopping the tramadol.

Had the weirdest night last night. Kept waking up at random intervals, except it felt like I'd never been asleep. Like I woke up and just continued with whatever thought had been broken off when I fell asleep. Spent nearly half and hour standing at the window at dawn just watching people go to work and then went back to bed. It was strange, but kinda fun.

I'm going to Hairspray with CP tomorrow. Am very excited. Also want to see Stardust, but need to go during a matinée showing because I am rapidly running out of dinero.

Am sick again. Was sick again? Feel fine right now, but yesterday on my way to work had to practically sprint off the bus to go throw up in some unfortunate person's backyard. Had to leave work early and nearly threw up again on the ride home. It was a disturbingly close call. Still, haven't thrown up today and am eating Pop Tarts. *keeps fingers crossed*

Have two new roomies whose names I haven't quite learned. Should probably get on that. Neither is (neither are? Damn, MA teachers would be so disappointed in me right now; I know that's a megablunder) much in the way of looks which is completely unfortunate as I was really looking forward to some nice eye candy after all these years spent rooming with girls. It'll be nice having new blood in the place, though. I'm not the new kid anymore! If nothing else, things'll be interesting around here for a bit.

Was sick this weekend. Went to work Saturday morning and felt kinda off, but thought I was just tired. Lied to GC and told him I had a fever, but I don't think I was off the mark. Went home feeling slightly guilty for ditching work, but slept forever and woke up with horrible chills and hot flashes. They continued through Sunday until I began dosing myself with obscene amounts of Tylenol. Felt like crap all through Monday and only today did I start feeling better. Showered and everything. It was a big day for Auto.

Caught up on some of Monday's TV shows, but can't find a My Boys torrent anywhere. Am slightly sad as it's a guilty pleasure.
