I have a new phone. It's a Samsung SYNC and it's red and pretty. It takes pictures and plays music and I feel like the coolest kid on the playground. I'm pretty much entirely obsessed with it.

Heroes tonight was awesome. )

Spent an obscenely long time over the past week reading [livejournal.com profile] sam_storyteller's fic Heroes: The Hiatus Continues, which, despite it's seriously lacking title, is awesome. And now I really want some more good and long Claude/Peter fic, but can't seem to find any anywhere. Everything I've run across is short character pieces and all I want is plot.

On an entirely different note, am going to SB tomorrow to see the grandparents, the mother and the few ND friends that I have and DS and I may go up to Green Bay to catch the Packers/Eagles game. Should be interesting, especially now that we can all legally go bar hopping.

I also watched the last 4 Kyle XY episodes of the season and am still mulling them over. My thoughts so far go something like this:

Spoilers ahoy, Matey! )

Been reading an insane amount of DW fic, but it was [livejournal.com profile] honorh's stuff that got me to finishing Heroes and Firefly, mostly because Out of Joint (DW/Firefly) was so enjoyable and I really wanted to read Survival (DW/Heroes) without being spoiled.

Spent the last few days watching the last half of the first season of Heroes - and wouldn't the high school English teachers would kill me for that sentence? And oh my God. How good is that show? I called JH after like every episode to rave. First I'm all, oh Mr. Bennett, why are you so evil, and then I start feeling the Petrellicest even though incest has never been my thing, and then the shady older generation and the last scene with Hiro and Nathan. Oh, Nathan.

Plus how cute is the little girl Molly? And Missy Whatever-Her-Name-Is from Stick It, my favorite guilty pleasure movie ever.

Oh the love.

Must admit, however, that I sorta hope DL dies. He's rather dull. Here's hopin'.
