Here are all the reasons I thought the Closer episode last night was rather awesome, despite the rather obvious murder mystery:
Ok, so I actually didn't come up with many reasons why the episode was great. I really just like Provenza. And Flynn. And episodes that don't have much Fritz time.
I really hope we get some Willie Rae this season. Episodes with her are the best.
- The almost complete lack of the oh-so-dull Fritz.
- Provenza and Flynn are totally hetero life mates.
- The scene at the end with Provenza and Will was brilliant. And Provenza's reason for never retiring? Perfect. I don't believe it's the entire truth - personally I think he likes his job and the people he works with, but I suspect there's a shred of truth to the reason he gave Will.
- "Provenza really likes my mother." I giggled a lot; the expression on Brenda's face when he stole the photo was awesome.
