I just finished my computer science and Russian history finals. The former was boring and basically comprised of me running through my textbook's glossary a hundred times while the latter was a five hour behemoth that had me frantically pouring over my textbook and obsessing over the correct capitalizations of Soviet and Party. I'm pretty sure eyestrain from that ordeal's going to force me into a new pair of glasses.

I spent the four hours before that tutoring JLK in math. I've (re?)learned how to divide polynomials into one another which I'm sure will be a useful skill, and also that I'm in no way shape or form cut out to be a teacher. I become impatient with him and then practically do the problems myself because I just want to be done with the damn things. Plus I'm not sure how to explain math to him. The entire subject comes fairly naturally to me (my calc grade notwithstanding) and I don't understand why people can't see numbers that way I do. Fortunately, JLK is one of my favorite kids ever, so it's nearly as painful as it ought to be.

I went on an icon binge last night and now really need to upgrade my LJ account because I need options, people! My debit card's been doing this weird thing where it won't let me buy online - says my info's incorrect even though it's blatantly not. It's really pissing me off and I never remember to call the bank while it's open - the curse of being nocturnal.

Mother and Father have been debating the best way to bring Papa's car back out here and may have settled on letting me drive it. It's not much more cost effective than having it shipped, but I have next week off school and would love to do it. Currently the Father and I are debating routes. The fastest is through Salt Lake City, but we did that one when we moved out here. The route through Las Vegas is only a hundred miles longer and would be awesome. I've only ever seen Vegas from the airport, but I'm not sure I'd be able to spend the night there which makes it less appealing. The final option is to go down into northern Arizona where I'll be able to see the Grand Canyon! I think that's my favorite, but it adds a whole extra day to my trip. So the debate rages on, but if it works out I'll be really psyched. All I need now is some excellent music books on tape.

I only realized last night that DW is coming back IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS! Then I spazzed out with glee when I realized that BSG and DW were premiering on consecutive days. And the Torchwood finale's the Wednesday before! I wrote and email filled with !s and caps to JH describing my spazzy glee and can hardly sit still. April is gonna be a goooooood month.
