I decided to try one last time to get into Stargate Atlantis - mostly because I was running out of ways to procrastinate on HW and thought another fandom would do the trick nicely. Unfortunately it did the trick a little too nicely as I've decided that a) Sheppard has excellent hair and b) McKay's the very model of an awesome astrophysicist. (Gilbert and Sullivan is running round and round my head without stop - it's driving me loopy.) And c) the two of them together make for endless amusement. Now I can't stop watching episodes and reading fic in the time it takes to DL the next ep and I'm getting no sleep because the fandom is huge and the quality is brilliant and I really really love scifi.

Also, because it amuses me when I'm wrong, from catching the occasional episode preview on scifi and from the first time I watched the pilot, I totally thought I'd hate Teyla with her overly calm voice and weird bangs, but the hair's improved and the voice doesn't grate and she's totally badass with the sticks and instead of burning hatred I have a little crush.

And at some point I must go find icons. Because SG1 icons just won't do.
