I Cried Like a Baby
The Torchwood season finale did me in. I'm an emotional wreck. Perhaps, when I'm thinking again, I'll go on to post thoughts, but for now there's nothing beyond "guh" and "noooooo!".
My DW download will be finished soon. Perhaps the new season will cheer me up - I'm looking forward to the new companion. (And now that it's aired, is it still a spoiler? Can I say the name without it having to be behind a cut?)
ETA: Watching TW and then DW was not the way to go. I feel schizophrenic. I want to bawl and then laugh because TW tore me up but Doctor Who had some very funny moments. Like when Donna and the Doctor first saw each other and were miming reactions. And I liked the Doctor's little speech at the end and Donna's reaction to it. I'm so not up for a repeat of last season and I'm glad they cut off anything beyond friendship right at the start. Judging by the first episode, the AotW may continue to be horribly pathetic with similarly awful graphics, but Donna and the Doctor will be fun together.
Rose! She looked so sad, but maybe it was the lack of mascara. I know it's next to impossible, but I really want her to come back for good forever and ever. I keep anticipating the rest of this season because I know she's back, but at the same time I'm dreading it because, once again, she has to leave the Doctor and that's going to make me cry. Possibly as hard as Torchwood made me cry.
