Super Mario for the Super Nintendo is the greatest game ever made. Of course, I can't play any games on consoles after the Super Nintendo because the 3D graphics make me nauseous, but that's irrelevant. Super Mario Bros = Greatest Game Ever.

In other console news, the boys have two old Xboxes that were just sitting in the family room, so I spent the weekend softmoding one (my first softmod!) and installing XMBC. There are some horrible wires running from the kitchen (the nearest phone jack) and the family room, but the convenience of being able to listen to/watch all the media on my various computers on the family room TV is so worth it.

The entire time I was doing it I listened to Girl Talk's "Feed the Animals" album on repeat. So, so good.

I'm about to rewatch Tin Man because it's been a year since the miniseries aired and I recall particularly enjoying it. Plus, Zooey, on whom I have a wee bitty crush.

Oh! Plus, I gave Mrs. DeW copies of BSG and got her and Mr. DeW entirely hooked. Mother thinks I'm little better than a crack dealer, but I think it's not bad for a weekend's work.
